LIVIO CAMARA a mené l’ensemble instrumental de Guinée pendant dix riches années et ainsi représenté son pays dans le monde entier. Il est le digne petit fils de El Hadj Djeli Sory Kouyate, le maître du balafon décédé en 2009. Référence du balafon mandingue aujourd’hui, LIVIO est un être simple et dense, tout comme sa musique.

MELODIES MANDE présente 4 titres dans le pur style mandingue, éclairé par le flamboyant djeli ngoni de Kandiafa, soutenu par un jeune bassiste qui monte, Mohamed Sayonafi, et ambiancé par la calebasse de l’actuel percussionniste de Salif Keita, le discret et non moins tres grooving Molo Koné. Le malien Kabadjan Konaté, ex-chanteur attitrée du génie Vieux Kanté jusqu’à son décès, a accepté de prêter sa chaude voix teintée de rock au projet de notre homme, pour notre plus grand bonheur.
